Former Red Devil Brings His Team To OT

Victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium last weekend sent champions Manchester United back to the top of the table and with Chelsea taking on Liverpool on Sunday, they have the chance to consolidate that position with the visit of Sunderland.

Despite failing to really sparkle so far in this campaign Sir Alex Ferguson’s men have won their last eight games in a row thanks largely due to the impressive form of the evergreen Ryan Giggs.

Berbatov: I was Disappointed Last Season

Dimitar Berbatov has admitted his disappointment after a tough first year at Manchester United, but is already happier with his form this term.

The Bulgarian failed to hit the heights expected of him in his first campaign following his £30.75million move from Tottenham last year.The 28-year-old scored just nine league goals last term and came in for heavy criticism, even from United fans.

Fergie: Eduardo Ban Is Good Message

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson thinks that the two-game ban handed to Arsenal striker Eduardo for his dive to win a penalty against Celtic in the Champions League is perfectly justified, and feels that such tough action is necessary in order to cure the game of the blight of simulation.

“It was a high-profile game and something has to be done,” The Guardian report the Scotsman as saying.
